X-Race Challenge Details Page


PHYSICAL

#100: Take a picture of your team and as many strangers needed to form a 3-tiered human pyramid inside of any elevator.

- 1 picture, all team members visible and as many strangers as needed

#101: Take a video of your team all doing either 5 push-ups or 5 sit-ups while an American Flag on a flag pole is visible in the background.

#102: Take a video of your team all walking/running up any down escalator for a full 9-seconds (the max length video that can be uploaded to Bonfyre). 

- 1 video, all team members visible

#103: Take a picture of your team all forming yoga "arches" while McDonald's golden arches are visible in the background.

#104: Take a picture of your entire team all completing any variation of the "Tree Pose" in front of any Yoga Studio.  If the studio doesn't have yoga in their name they should at least have signage out front or in a window promoting that their main business is yoga.

#105: Take a picture of your team all doing "wall sits" against any wall with a hand painted mural.

#106: Take a video of your team all attempting to run from 3rd base to home plate of any baseball diamond within a 9-second video.

- 1 video, all team members visible

- team is at an actual sports field and not a makeshift version your team created in a yard or somewhere else

#107: Take a picture of at least two racers on your team each planking across a separate set of roller chairs while on a hard surface. Their feet should be on one roller chair and their torso should be above the second chair with their arms fully extended and locked below them (as if you're about to begin push-ups) as they hold onto the second roller chair. Chairs should be on a hard surface and HQ should be able to verify they are chairs with wheels on them.

- 1 picture, all team members visible and at least two racers completing the challenge

- each of the two racers are planking (as seen below) across two chairs with wheels

- the chairs are on a hard surface and they are not touching anything else (wall, another racer, etc) 

 
 

#108: Take a picture of your entire team while each racer has at least 5 books stacked on each hand and their arms are fully extended and locked either to the side or out in front of their body.

#109: Take a video of your team and at least 2 strangers all running up the last 2 flights of stairs at the front of the Art Museum while playing "Eye Of The Tiger" on a mobile device, or singing it, and then proudly raising your fists above your head once you reach the top.

- at least 2 strangers complete the challenge with your team

SKILL

#200: Take a video of your team completing the "Paper Airplane Challenge". Basically send one team member to the 2nd level of any parking garage and have them toss a homemade paper airplane out into the air in front of them.  The rest of your team should be on the sidewalk below and any one of your team members at ground level needs to catch the plane before it hits the ground, although all team members can be attempting to catch it. 

- 1 video, all team members visible 

- one team member gets to the 2nd level of any parking garage (one above ground level) and launches a homemade paper airplane into the air in front of them (not dropping it directly down) 

- rest of team is on the ground floor, outside, below where the airplane is being launched

- any ONE team member at ground level catches the tossed airplane before it hits the ground, but all can be attempting to catch it

 
 

#201: Take a picture of your entire team jumping in the air while a traffic light is "yellow" in the background. 

- 1 picture, all team members visible 

- all team members must be attempting to jump in the air

- a regulation traffic light (red, yellow, green) is in the background and is clearly yellow while your team is in the air. If a glare is making it hard to verify that the light is yellow then you'll need to take it from a different angle or find a different light. 

#202: Take a video of at least 1 teammate skipping a rock across any body of water and get it to skip at least 3 times before sinking.  

- 1 video, all team members visible if possible

- only 1 teammate needs to complete the challenge but all can attempt if desired

- team member must skip a rock across any body of water

- rock must clearly skip at least 3 times before sinking beneath the surface

#203: Take a video of any racer from your team successfully bouncing a quarter off of a hard surface and into a standard drinking glass (aka...the bar game "Quarters" but without needing to drink). 

- 1 video, all team members visible if possible

only 1 teammate needs to complete the challenge but all can attempt if desired

- a regulation quarter is bounced off of a surface and lands directly into any standard drinking glass without anything else influencing it's path

 
 

#204: Take a video of any 1 teammate completing the Reverse Flip Cup Challenge with any plastic or paper cup (cup starts upside down on edge of table and must be flipped upright).

- 1 video, all team members visible if possible

- only 1 teammate needs to complete the challenge but all can attempt if desired

- team member must start by having a plastic or paper cup upside down on the edge of a hard surface and flip it so that it remains upright without the assistance of your hands. See video below and watch the successful attempt at the 11 second mark. You can take a long video and then trim it down in the app to just show the successful attempt. 

 
 

#205: Take a video of any two racers from your team completing the "Pen Snatch Challenge" at the same time.  Basically each racer lays 4 pens or pencils across the back of their hand while their palm is facing down.  They both slide their hand away quickly and then catch all 4 pens or pencils (while still keeping their palm facing down) before any of them hit the ground.  Both racers need to complete this at the same time. 

(watch the video below as an example. She uses 14 pencils, but you only have to use 4. Although yours will take teamwork since 2 racers will need to do it at the same time)

- two team members complete the challenge at the same time

- racers lay 4 pens or pencils across the back of their hand and then slide their hand away and catch all 4 writing instruments without them hitting the ground or using your body to support your catch

 
 

#206: Take a picture of each teammate all balancing their own separate soda can on an angle unsupported and not being held. This should be completed on a hard surface outdoors since there will likely be some spilling until you all do it successfully.

- 1 picture, all team members visible

- one soda can per team member needs to be on an angle and unsupported and not held

- there is a trick to getting it to balance, so figure it out as a team and work together to get everyone's cans balanced

#207: Take a video of any one of your team members flipping a standard (16 ounces or so) bottle of water onto a table, or hard surface at least waist high, and getting it to successfully remain standing upright once it lands.  The bottle can be filled with as much water as needed to improve your chances of completing the challenge successfully.

- any one of your team members completes the Water Bottle Flip challenge as described above and shown in the video below

 
 

#208: Take a video of all teammates completing the Quarter Snatch Challenge (coin at end of bent elbow and catch it in mid-air with palm facing down) successfully at the same time (so no drops) while the building that housed the first ever bank in the USA is visible in the background.

- 1 video, all team members visible 

- each team member completes a successful Quarter Snatch Challenge attempt (see video below) at the same time. 

- the building that housed the first ever bank in the USA is visible and identifiable in the background

 
 

#209: Take a video of any combination of teammates successfully catching 3 pieces of popcorn in their mouths thrown to them by another teammate within a 9-second continuous video.  

- 1 video, all team members visible if possible

- any combination of team members catches 3 pieces of popcorn in their mouth(s) within a 9-second continuous video

- popcorn is thrown to them by another teammate and not by themselves


FIND

#300: Take a video of your team completing "Stop, Drop, and Roll" in front of any working fire station. Be sure to yell each step of the fire safety technique as you do it and make sure the Fire Station is clearly visible and identifiable in the background.

- 1 video, all team members visible if possible

- team is at any working fire station and it is visible and identifiable

- racers perform the Stop, Drop, and Roll safety technique

#301: Take a picture of your team with any grave that has the same first name of any of the four Beatles members (doesn't have to be spelled exactly the same).  

- 1 picture, all team members visible 

- team is at a grave and the tombstone is visible

- the first name etched on the gravestone is the same as any of the 4 Beatles first names, although it doesn't have to be spelled excatly the same. The etching must be legible or you can send a close-up of it for additional verification. 

#302Take a picture of your team doing your best super model pose with any mannequin that has a full torso and at least 2 of these 3 other types of appendages: head, arms, legs

- 1 picture, all team members visible

#303: Take a picture of your team with any outdoor digital temperature sign while the temperature is displaying an even number. The temperature should be found on an outdoor digital sign, etc, and not listed on a car dashboard, mobile device, refrigerator, etc. 

- 1 picture, all team members visible 

- any outdoor digital temperature sign is visible and the temperature reading is legible.

- the sign is displaying an even numbered temperature in the picture

#304: Take a picture of your team using any standard public pay phone. 

- 1 picture, all team members visible 

- pay phone is visible in and background and should be regulation size, although it does not have to be operational or in a booth

#305: Take a picture of your team and as many strangers as needed to create a connected human chain between any 2 parked red cars.  The cars can be any shade of red as long as they are clearly in the red spectrum.  

- 1 picture, all team members visible and as many strangers as needed

- team forms a connected human chain between any two parked red cars using their entire team and as many strangers as needed

#306: Take a picture of any two people with Driver's Licences from two different states.  The ID's can be racers on your team or strangers, or a combination of both.  You or the strangers can cover the personal information on the ID with your fingers if you'd like, as long as HQ can verify they are from two different states.  Your picture can be a close up of the two ID's but HQ may ask you to take a second picture with your entire team and the two people from different states as well to make sure your team is all together. 

- 1 picture, or multiple pictures if needed, team members visible if possible

- any two state regulated driver's licences (ID's) are visible and identifiable. The licences are from two different people

- the two licenses are from two different states

#307: Take a picture of your team with any magazine that has a picture of Johnny Depp OR Prince on the cover and pose exactly like they are in the picture. You only need to find a cover with one of those two stars but the picture must be on the cover of the magazine and not just in an article.

- 1 picture, all team members visible 

- team is holding up an actual magazine, not a newspaper or some other type of editorial or printout

- a picture of Johnny Depp or Prince is featured on the cover somewhere, and not just in an interior article

#308: Take a picture of your team and exactly 3 live pigeons, no more, no less. If there is a group of more than 3 you'll need to work together to corral 3 away from the pack so you can capture them in the background and be close enough that HQ can verify they're actually pigeons.  

- 1 picture, all team members visible 

- 3 live pigeons, no more, no less, are visible in the background and are identifiable

#309: Take a picture of your team with any dog standing next to a regulation fire hydrant and have everyone pose with one leg lifted up towards the hydrant.  

- 1 picture, all team members visible 

- any real dog is visible with your team

- entire team and the dog are beside an actual fire hydrant


FUN

#400: Take a video of your entire team as each racer slides down a playground slide head first one after the other within a 9-second continuous video.   

- 1 video, or multiple videos if needed for teams with lots of racers, all team members visible 

- each team member slides down the slide head first one after the other

- team is using an actual playground slide and not just a smooth surface on a hillside or some other slope

#401: Take a video of your team using a shopping cart to reenact the start of a bobsled race. You should have at least 1 teammate in the cart and one pushing but can add more in the cart or use multiple carts so that every teammate is riding or pushing a "bobsled".

- 1 video, all team members visible 

- team reenacts the start of a bobsled race using any standard shopping cart(s)

- at least 1 team member should be in each cart used and 1 team member should be pushing each cart. You can have more than 1 team member riding or pushing, and more than 1 cart as long as each cart has someone riding in it and someone pushing it. 

- this challenge should either be completed in a store or on a flat surface. Do not push the cart fast or recklessly, it is more about your overly dramatic reenactment of a bobsled race within a 9-second video.

 
 

#402: Take a video of your team all dancing like crazy while any racer from your team plays the tune "Chopsticks" on a piano or keyboard.

- 1 video, all team members visible if possible

- team is dancing while one racer is playing any standard piano or keyboard that actually plays music

- one racer is playing at least a portion of the well known tune "Chopsticks" on the piano or keyboardIf no one on your team knows how to play the tune you can research how to play it online and teach yourself before attempting the challenge

#403: Take a video of your entire team on any sloping grass surface doing 5 log rolls with one racer directly behind the next, shoulder to shoulder. Timing will be important in order for everyone to do 5 full rotations before piling on top of one another.  

- 1 video, all team members visible 

- each team member is lying on the ground shoulder to shoulder and completes 5 full log roll rotations within one 9-second continuous video

- challenge is done on a soft grass surface with a slope if possible, but can be done on a flat grassy area if no hills are accessible

#404: Have your team divide up into pairs and take a picture of each pair of racers holding up either a jelly donut, creme-filled donut, or Boston Creme donut between the two racers foreheads.  Each pair of racers should be facing each other with their foreheads close together, holding the donut up using only their foreheads and not supporting it or holding it with their hands or a wall.  

- 1 picture, all team members visible 

- team is in pairs and each pair is holding up a donut between the two racers foreheads without touching it with your hands.  If you have an uneven number of racers on your team the extra racer can take the picture or make one pair a group of 3 racers

- donut must be jelly filled, creme filled, or Boston Creme style

 

#405: Take a video of at least half of your team members each consuming separate spoonfuls of any brand of hot sauce. So if your team has 3 total racers at least 2 of them need to complete this challenge. Be sure to show the bottle or packet of hot sauce in the video so HQ can verify you're actually consuming hot sauce. 

- 1 video, all team members visible if possible

- at least half of the team members are consuming their own spoonfuls of hot sauce

- spoons should be standard table spoons or plastic to-go version

#406: Take a video of your team all wiping the windows of a strangers car at a gas station using a Squeegee. Be sure to get the strangers approval before performing this challenge, and make sure they are visible at some point in the video.

- 1 video, all team members visible 

- team is at any standard gas station

- team members are helping to wipe the windows of a strangers car using a gas station squeegee.  

#407: Take a picture of your team and at least 4 strangers all embracing in a group hug or reenacting a wedding scene while the LOVE statue is visible in the background.

- 1 picture, all team members visible 

- at least 4 strangers are participating in the challenge with you

- entire group is embraced in a group hug OR reenacting a wedding scene (two people getting married with the entire wedding party and relevant role persons, etc)

- the famous Philadelphia LOVE statue is visible in the background. Must be the life-sized version and not a miniature replica or picture

#408: Take a video of your entire team playing a game of leap frog with one another while any natural body of water is visible in the background. Must be an actual natural body of water, not just a swimming pool or puddle. 

- 1 video, all team members visible if possible

- racers are playing a game of leap frog

- any natural body of water is clearly visible and identifiable in the background such as a pond, stream, lake, river, etc

#409: Take a video of your team all doing the "E-A-G-L-E-S...EAGLES" cheer with any stranger who's wearing Eagles apparel such as a jersey, hat, shirt, etc.

- 1 video, all team members visible 

- a stranger is visible and they are wearing some form of Eagles apparel

- group does the "E-A-G-L-E-S...Eagles" cheer
