Xplore Urban Adventure Race has partnered with "The Experience Network App", called bonfyre, to provide our racers with a hi-tech and incredibly social way of racing.  If you are racing with us this year you should download the app below on your mobile device and read through the tips we've provided to prepare for race day!

To learn more about our App and our exclusive partnership with Bonfyre check out our blog post about it...HERE

The Xplore App through Bonfyre is simple to use, and intuitive, but we've created some tips to get you fully proficient with it before race day

How to Log Into The App

3. For new users enter your First and Last Name. Then press GO.  If you are asked whether the app is allowed to access features such as your pictures and microphone you should select "allow" so that on race day the app can function fully and access pictures you've taken using your camera.

4. The first time you log in two tips will pop up showing you how to Find a Bonfyre (the magnifying glass tool), and Create a Bonfyre (the orange plus sign). To close these tips simply click anywhere in the grey space and you'll be taken to your Home Screen.

How to Join Your Race Day Bonfyres

1. Leading up to race day you will receive an email with a link to join each of the race day bonfyres we'll create for you.  There will be two bonfyres we'll create and send you links for:

Race Bonfyre: The first one will be labeled with the name of the city you're racing in, such as "Xplore Philadelphia", and will consist of all racers competing in the event. This will be a very social and fun way to engage with all teams as the race approaches.  Racers will post a team picture of themselves as they're getting ready to start the race, and can comment or post content before and after the race, and during the after-party.  This bonfyre will also be used by our Race Headquarters to communicate important info, including weather warnings and race results in real-time.

Team Bonfyre: The second bonfyre will be labeled with the name of your team, such as "The Hard Corps", and will only consist of racers who are on your team, and our Race HQ.  This will be used during the race by your team to submit pictures and videos privately, and receive verification in real-time.  It also creates a critical one to one communication between your team and our Race HQ in case you have race-related questions before, during, or after the event.

2. If you've downloaded the Bonfyre App before we send out the Xplore bonfyre invite emails (which you should if possible) then you can simply click the links in the email from your mobile device and it will open the invitation page.

3. Once the invitation page opens on your device click "existing bonfyre user"

4. Then on the next page click "Click here to open the app and join the bonfyre".

5. Repeat these steps for the second bonfyre link and you'll then see both on your Home Screen.

4. Our race HQ will get notified of your comment and if a response is needed you will likely receive it very quickly.

5. Depending on your notification settings you may receive a push notification instantly when our HQ responds.
